Key Responsibilities:Lesson Planning & Delivery:Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum guidelines and meet the needs of diverse learners.Teach chemistry concepts including atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, acids and bases, organic chemistry, and more.Ensure that lessons are engaging, student-centered, and adapted to meet the needs of different learning styles and levels of ability.Use a variety of instructional methods, such as lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on experiments.Classroom & Laboratory Management:Maintain an organized and safe classroom and laboratory environment.Instruct students on the proper use of laboratory equipment, safety procedures, and the importance of following protocols.Supervise students during laboratory work to ensure safety and correct experimentation techniques.Organize and maintain lab materials, chemicals, and equipment.Student Assessment & Evaluation:Design and administer assessments such as quizzes, tests, assignments, and laboratory reports to evaluate student understanding and progress.Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance.Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.Identify students who may need additional support and offer remedial instruction or extra help.Curriculum Development:Collaborate with colleagues to develop, refine, and update the chemistry curriculum.Incorporate modern educational tools, technology, and resources into the classroom.Stay informed of new developments and trends in chemistry and education to ensure content is current and relevant.Professional Development:Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.Engage in continuous learning and research to improve instructional effectiveness.Student Support & Engagement:Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and academic achievement.Develop strong relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior, as needed.Serve as a mentor or advisor to students interested in pursuing further studies in chemistry or related fields.Job Type: Permanent
