Job Summary:A test engineering specialist to establish a test equipment development capability for the HALCON Systems Development Engineering Division and Operations Division.Key Accountabilities:Establish an in-house test equipment design capability for the development programmes, as well as for the Halcon Operations functions such as Production, Platform Integration and Logistic Support.Be a key member in product design reviews in order to influence the testability, reliability, availability, maintainability and producibility of the designs and products.Interpret design test specifications and generate production test specifications and procedures (for both hardware and software) in order to develop and produce automated test equipment.Gain design intent knowledge for product industrialization and know-how to form a bridge between system engineering, development and production.Provide guidance to management as well as development projects regarding technological advancement and best practices in the test engineering environment.Assist the Mechatronic engineering department management regarding test strategies, supporting of the integration teams and overall Halcon test infrastructure.Lead and mentor subordinates and engineers to facilitate test equipment development tasks and perform responsibilities designated by the programmes.Experience & Education Qualifications:At least 21 yr (NTC5), 17 yr (T3), 15 yr (T4/B.Tech) or 10 yr (M.Tech) with multi-area exposure regarding electronic engineering areas such as analogue and digital electronics.Expert knowledge of test techniques, NI test software and test equipment development and manufacturing.Relevant experience in development engineering environment of precision guided munitions, defense and aerospace industry (years of relevant experience can be reduced based on qualifications).Thorough understanding of the systems engineering process (Acceptance testing, qualification, field testing, flight testing).
