Located in the cosmopolitan Dubai Marina area, the 3,037 square-meter hotel is next to Dubai Marina Mall and within walking distance of the picturesque pedestrian promenade, which borders the waterway lined with vibrant cafes and restaurants. With 273 stylish rooms and a convenient, prestigious location, you will find Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina an ideal hotel for productive business and enjoyable leisure time; and will definitely enjoy a new hotel that has mastered the balance between modernism of the business world and traditions of Arabian hospitality.
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Receiving Officer/Storekeeper to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina. As a Receiving Officer/Storekeeper, you are responsible for receiving, inspecting, recording, and checking the contents to ensure they match the orders. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:
Receiving Officer
Ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them properly.
Collaborate with the procurement team to list expected deliveries.
Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.).
Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
Store Keeper
Ensure the store is kept clean and organized.
Issue beverages accordingly with the approved requisition.
Ensure all beverages have proper labeling and are well arranged in the store.
Reorder beverage items and coordinate with F&B Team on new orders, slow-moving, and short expiry items.
Able to do monthly inventory on beverages promptly.
Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, the ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills, along with being quality-oriented with a focus on details, high performance standards, ability to multi-task & meet deadlines, and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
