Vice President / Director - Reporting to Managing Director
Key Result Areas
Assist the firm to ensure quality and efficient transaction execution
Assist in business development and transaction placement activities
Required Experience / Responsibilities:
Preparation of high quality pitches / presentation, financial models and other transaction related documents (Information Memorandums, Industry Studies, Simple and Complex Financial Models, Confidentiality Agreements, Engagement Letters, Financial Due Diligence, Valuation workings, Deal Status Reports etc.)
Execution of end to end M&A, Debt, Equity and PE Deals and structured finance transactions
Interaction and coordination with clients to assist in submitting timely response to queries from investors, bankers, third parties
Understanding client needs and objectives towards evaluation of new opportunities
Understanding of DFSA compliance procedures and regulations
Strong network of clients, investors (family groups, private equity and venture capital firms)
Proficiency with MS Office, virtual data-room platforms, Industry as well as Financial Research data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters, Pitchbook, Capital IQ, etc.)
Knowledge and Skills
Chartered Accountant / Masters degree in Finance with a minimum of 10+ years of post-qualification experience in the investment banking industry
Good understanding of the M&A Lifecycle and process (pre-deal, diligence, valuation and post-deal)
Strong analytical and presentation skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
Demonstrated experience with managing of day to day aspects of client relationships and projects and working with diverse teams
