About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an experienced business development professional to lead our commercial activities in the UAE. You will be responsible for leading our commercial strategy for the UAE and driving our growth through partnerships and key client development. The successful candidate will need to be highly confident and skilled in speaking to potential clients, regulators, media, and partners. As a Commercial Director, you will work with our internal operations, growth, product and marketing teams to achieve the required strategic goals and revenue targets.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for OKX in the UAE that aligns with business growth objectives.

Formulate revenue strategy and revenue optimization based on the product offering of OKX in the UAE.

Work closely with the executive leadership team to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Lead our partnership work in UAE through identifying the right partners to work with plus executing any partnership negotiations.

Manage relationships with key clients in the UAE ensuring positive customer experience.

Drive cross-functional focus on customer outcomes, value, and experience.

Build strong alignment between sales, marketing, product, finance, and other related business areas.

Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform strategic decision and product innovation.

What We Look For In You

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Crypto or Traditional Finance sectors, with a significant portion in a leadership role.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful commercial strategies in the derivatives space.

Strong understanding of futures and options products, market dynamics, market data, and indices.

Understanding of the UAE crypto and finance regulatory environments.

Highly sociable, confident, and commercially-minded communicator.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and market expansion.

Ability to navigate complex negotiations and forge strong relationships with clients and partners.

Nice to have:

- Arabic speaker

- Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange!

- Passionate about blockchain technology and the crypto space.
