Business Manager - Enterprises Cork Enterprises, County Cork Permanent Contract, 39 hours Overview of the Role The post holder reporting to the Head of Operations, has responsibility for the operations and development of the Cork site. The management of single or multiple site units within Rehab Enterprises will involve leading and motivating staff, with diverse needs, to achieve key organisational objectives. Delivering customer requirements and meeting quality standards, in a safe and efficient manner, whilst promoting a positive working environment will be a key requirement. The postholder will develop new work practices, products and services that allow the organisation to deliver on its core objectives as an employer and to remain sustainable as a commercial enterprise. Duties will include directing and coordinating activities within the remit of the Cork business including supervisory management, record management, risk analysis and sales. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Operations, business managers in Enterprises and support functions to develop and execute the strategic plan for all of Rehab Enterprises. Principal Duties and Responsibilities The main responsibilities of this role include: Develop and implement a business strategy, to improve operational efficiencies and environment on the Cork site,in order to identify new customers and cross sell to existing customers, across varied sectors, to deliver on sales and profit margin budgets. Develop marketing collateral with support to standardise sales process. Grow and develop the existing customer base, to include managing the collection and processing of orders, in order to ensure the efficient dispatch and delivery of goods/services within customer service / client standards; to facilitate the delivery of monthly and annual sales and profit margin budgets Lead, motivate and develop staff to include the scheduling of individual and team meetings to deliver on business goals and customer expectations; supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facilities; performance management and streamlining of operations, collaborating to ensure process and product flows are efficient and production schedules and targets are met; the operation delivers/exceeds budgeted financial expectations; and agreed key performance indicators are met on an annual basis. In partnership with the Director of Enterprises and Head of Operations (Enterprises), assist in the preparation of annual budgets, smart goals and KPIs that are ambitious yet achievable, to include reviewing pricing models/ contracts, for operational and financial sustainability and growth; working to deliver on Enterprise strategy. Required experience/ qualifications Qualification in Management (NFQ06) and/or degree in related discipline (NFQ07) would be required. Three (3) years' relevant experience in the management of a people focused commercial / manufacturing environment, providing a quality focused product or service. Business to business sales experience, ideally in the industrial sector, would be an advantage. A proven track record in business planning and change management.
