Our client is a well-established and respected 3-partner accountancy firm located in Dublin City. Their clientele spans across various industries, including charities, property, hospitality, retail, and healthcare, both domestically and internationally. Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Audit & Accounts Manager to lead and develop the audit and accounts team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the audit team while being actively involved in client management. This is a hands-on, client-facing position, suitable for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused role. You will be expected to take ownership of the audit floor, ensuring the efficient and smooth running of operations. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the audit and accounts team, reporting directly to the Audit Director and partners. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, including UK-based and international clients, across a variety of sectors (excluding financial services). You will oversee audits and accounts preparation for industries such as property, charities, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and more. Hands-On Involvement: Be actively involved in client work, conducting audits and overseeing accounts preparation to ensure high standards of service delivery. Operational Efficiency: Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, from planning audits to client delivery. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all audits and accounts meet regulatory requirements and are delivered on time, adhering to internal policies and procedures. Key Requirements: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in audit and accounts management, preferably within a small medium sized firm. ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification. Proven experience in leading teams, with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Comfortable working with a wide range of industries, excluding financial services.
