Job no: 494585 Work type: Permanent Full Time Location: NT - Darwin Categories: Truck Driver Northline are on the lookout for HR Drivers to join our Darwin team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills. We currently have permanent full-time positions available, Monday to Friday, commencing from approx. 6/7am. As an experienced HR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight to Northline’s customers as well as loading and unloading a variety of freight. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely delivery of customer’s freight;
- Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork;
- Constant communication with the depot (manager/supervisor);
- Maintaining a truck log to align with current state legislation;
- Operating a forklift;
- Manual handling of freight and curtain gates.
- Hold a current and valid HR Licence;
- Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF);
- Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains;
- Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded;
- Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environment;
- An awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded.
