Full time Salary: $141,112 + 12.75% Super + 17.5% Leave Loading Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for project excellence? Join Sunwater as Project Controls Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in developing detailed schedules for the Dam Improvement program. You will support our Infrastructure Development and Delivery Project teams in carrying out project control functions, with a particular focus on the development, review, and analysis of the detailed schedules and estimates of the Dam Improvement program of works. As a Project Controls Specialist at Sunwater, you will:

  • Develop detailed schedules from projects, contractors, vendors, or internal groups, and provide an independent assessment to ensure ongoing quality and accuracy.
  • Review execution strategies and construction methodologies and ensure the cost estimates and schedules align to these.
  • Review the risk registers and ensure the appropriate items are captured in the project costs estimates and schedules.
We are seeking a talented individual with:
  • A minimum of 5-10 years’ industry experience and a proven track record in developing detailed project and construction schedules including gated processes and deliverables.
  • Software expertise: Proven experience and expert knowledge in Primavera P6 or Prism.
  • Strategic vision: Ability to design and develop robust project, program & portfolio schedules.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team.
