The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Azure data technologies and proven experience in leading a team. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of data engineers and analysts in the design, development, and implementation of data solutions on the Azure platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
- Implement and optimize data processing using PySpark.
- Ensure data integrity and security while managing data lifecycle across various environments.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and architecture.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Strong understanding of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
- Proficiency in PySpark for data processing.
- Solid experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and version control systems like GIT.
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Power BI for reporting and visualization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a technical team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
