HEAD OF LIBRARIES NEEDED IN QATAR - AUGUST 2025Leading one member of staff, you will oversee both the Primary and Secondary Libraries.Age Group: Whole school: Primary and SecondaryQualification: Related Bachelor's degreePreferred experience: At least 5 years in school libraries - including leadershipPackage: Monthly tax-free from about QR10000 to about QR15000 plus free single occupancy apartment (not shared), free flights, utility allowance, medical insurance, and more. He/she should be an outstanding teacher, learner, motivator, and communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, and should be capable of preparing students for international programmes in a stimulating, challenging, and well-organised learning environment. He/She should be able to provide professional expertise, high-quality teaching and learning, make effective use of resources, and ensure improved standards of learning and achievement for all students.Applicants are preferred to offer IB experience, although it is not essential, and must be willing to work in a learning environment that is both multicultural and international. This opportunity is open to all relevantly qualified and experienced applicants, including new graduates, all nationalities, and all language speakers, as long as they have an excellent fluent command of the English language.The school prefers people with qualified teacher status appropriate to the teaching duties to be undertaken and experience of the IB Programme.
