Primary Purpose: As a Sales Development Representative at Visory, you will play a critical role in the growth of our business. Focused on prospecting new customers, you'll convert leads into qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. Your responsibilities include utilising lists provided, conducting research, cultivating and engaging in meaningful conversations, and taking customers through the sales process until a qualified meeting is booked. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating opportunities with a "no limits" mindset, is hungry and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get real work done. Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through channels like cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events.
- Direct Outreach: using the 7:1 call to message ratio method, use the contact lists provided to conduct direct outreach and create opportunities
- Research: Conduct in-depth research to understand businesses, pain points, and industry trends for tailored communication.
- Qualification and Needs Analysis: Engage with prospective customers to comprehend their needs, challenges, and goals.
- Sales Pitch and Product Knowledge: Articulate Visory’s value proposition clearly and stay current with products, services, and industry trends to address customer objections.
- Qualify Leads: Efficiently move leads through the sales funnel and book meetings with Account Executives.
- Sales Support and Collaboration: Provide support to the growth team by scheduling appointments, preparing sales materials, and assisting with client presentations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all interactions with customers and prospects using CRM software.
- Prospecting Skills: Proficient in identifying and targeting potential customers through various channels.
- Time Management: Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research to understand businesses and industry trends.
- Sales Ability: Capable of effectively articulating Visory’s value proposition and addressing customer objections.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Experience working with a CRM.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Must be a self-starter and able to succeed in a high-growth and performance environment.
