Job Description Position: Senior Environmental Advisor – Contaminated Land Location: Brisbane, QLD Salary: $130K - $150K + super
About the Role:
As a Senior Environmental Consultant with our client, a leading environmental consultancy in Australia, you'll focus on office-based tasks including analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, specialising in contaminated land. Responsibilities include leading state-wide intrusive investigations, conducting site inspections, and preparing technical reports for environmental assessments. Your role will utilise expertise in contaminated land guidance to inform decisions and solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the project and teams on complex projects.
- Preparing technical reports and proposals, ensuring accurate cost calculations.
- Travel throughout the state to undertake surveys, often in remote locations for extended survey periods, but always considering your work/life balance.
- Making technical decisions and providing solutions based on expertise.

Key Criteria:
- Degree qualification in environmental science or ecology discipline, zoology.
- Significant experience as an environmental scientist / Advisor within the contaminated land sector.
- Current drivers’ licence (c class), manual preferred.
- 6-8 years experience in various environmental services.
- Proven experience in proposal development and project management and working as part of a team.
- Proven experience in supervision of junior team members, mentoring, and taking a leading role in field surveys.
- Ability to deliver critical project outcomes under pressure with enthusiasm and drive.
