Job Title: Project Manager and Freelance ManagementWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven knowledge in agile methodologies to act as an intermediary between our internal team and freelancers on platforms like Upwork. This role is crucial in managing the outsourcing of marketing assets, including websites, content, product landing pages, advertising materials, small user interface projects, and MVPs of new products. The ideal candidate will excel in project description, documentation creation, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.Key Responsibilities:Project Management:Define Project Scope:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements.Develop clear and detailed project briefs for freelancers.Documentation:Create comprehensive documentation, including guidelines, timelines, and deliverables.Maintain project records and update documentation as necessary.Delivery Time and Cost Management:Establish project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.Coordinate with freelancers to align schedules and cost estimates.Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and freelancers.Facilitate effective communication to ensure project objectives are understood.Provide constructive feedback to freelancers.Ensure revisions are satisfactorily completed.Quality Assurance:Evaluate the quality of work submitted by freelancers.Verify that deliverables meet company standards and project requirements.Ensure all materials comply with brand guidelines and legal regulations.Freelancer Selection and Management:Identify and assess potential freelancers on platforms like Upwork.Manage contracts and negotiate terms.Relationship Building:Develop strong relationships with freelancers.Maintain a database of preferred vendors.Process Improvement:Identify bottlenecks in the workflow from project definition to freelancer delivery.Implement strategies to improve efficiency.Stay updated on industry trends and integrate best practices.Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Software, or a related field.Languages:Fluent or native-level English is required.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management.Marketing and UI/UX:Familiarity with marketing assets and user interface design principles.Experience with product MVP development is a plus.Technical Skills:Project Documentation: Proficient in creating detailed project briefs and documentation.Project Management Software: Proficient with Asana, Trello, Jira, etc.Communication Platforms: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.Freelance Platforms: Extensive experience with Upwork or similar platforms.Strong ability to assess the quality of marketing materials, UI designs, and required functionalities.Attention to detail in reviewing and editing content.Project Management Methodologies:Knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.Experience using agile tools and facilitating agile ceremonies.Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar credentials.Interpersonal Skills:Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.Exceptional time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong prioritization skills.Proactive in identifying problems and implementing solutions.Preferred Qualifications / Desired Skills:Technical Skills:Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to communicate effectively with developers.Familiarity with responsive design principles.Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data.Understanding of database management systems.Experience with Git or other version control systems.Content Management Systems (CMS): Platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.Design Tools (for review): Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch.Experience with CRMs: HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.Additional Skills:Proven track record of managing outsourced projects.
