DescriptionThe Lead Server is responsible for managing the Front of the House in Food and Beverage. This position will work side by side with the back of the house team (Executive Chef) and F&B Manager to ensure all levels of service standards are met.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:2+ years of food service/management experienceServSafe certifiedA thorough understanding of casual diningPossess supervisory skillsMust be dependableMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work in a team environmentPosition Responsibilities:Provide a memorable guest experienceMust be team orientedOversight of the F&B Front of the House team (training, running shifts, floor plans, logging and responding to all reservations)Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager on event execution and be knowledgeable of all club event detailsWork closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager to ensure revenue goals and service standards are met during à la Carte service and Special EventsOversight of Inventory (Controls, ordering goods and supplies, monthly counts)Ensuring that all employees are properly trained with Safe Serve and TipsTrain incoming employeesMaintain a professional appearance at all timesProvide prompt and efficient customer serviceAccurately take guests' food and/or drink orders and turn them into the kitchen, bar, etc.Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely mannerAdhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guestsAccurately handle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating proceduresKeep tables, dining room, and workstation(s) sanitized and organizedListen and respond to customer complaintsPerform opening, clean-up, and closing procedures as assigned by the managerPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
