Job Description:Structural InspectorLocation: Dubai, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Inspector to join our team! In this role, you will perform continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.Duties and Responsibilities:Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.Gives practical advice on constructional matters.Inspects construction, including temporary works, to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.Interfaces with client and contractor's staff to determine and verify project requirements.Prepares and maintains inspection reports and site records.Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques, and concrete coring.Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Requirements:Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University/College.Minimum 3 years of experience in inspection of road construction works.Dubai work experience is strongly preferred.Knowledge and experience using computer software.Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.Good oral and written communication skills.Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction-related processes related to the area of assignment.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
