Head of Risk & ComplianceSalary: €130,000 - €140,000 per annumLocation: Dublin* Opportunity to work within an Investment Firm with a large portfolio of client Assets* Direct reporting to the Board, offering significant responsibility and influence* Key role in maintaining and developing the firm's Risk Management FrameworkOur client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Risk & Compliance to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the firm's Risk Management Framework, ensuring compliance with Irish/EU legislation, and acting as the principal liaison with regulatory bodies.What you'll do:Act as the Firm's Risk Officer and hold PCF14 roleDevelop Risk Management Strategy for Board approvalMaintain and develop the firm's Risk Management FrameworkConduct the firm's risk assessmentManage the firm's Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)Facilitate identification and evaluation of risksGive assurance on the risk management processesEnsure the Board and Senior Management are informed of their roles in relation to Risk ManagementAct as Compliance Officer, MLRO and hold PCF15 roleWhat you bring:Formal qualifications relating to financial services compliance e.g. ACOI, Diploma in Financial Services Law, ACA, Solicitor, QFADetailed knowledge of Irish/EU legislation relevant to the firm i.e. MIFID II, CRD, AML, GDPRStrong communication skills capable of dealing effectively with Regulators and StaffAbility to work on own initiative and complete a range of tasks from preparing regulatory returns to reporting to the BoardWhat's next:Ready for the next step in your career?
