Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in tax filings (SST, income tax, etc.).
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Monitor and review internal financial controls to ensure efficiency.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field.
- Diploma in Accounting with experience.
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal).
