This position entails Coordination and Reporting, which are crucial components of Jazz's Regulatory Compliance and Vigilance team, offering vital support to the Stream Head of Regulatory Compliance and Vigilance. These roles are instrumental in maintaining efficient communication channels, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring strict adherence to vigilance compliance protocols.
The primary responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including facilitating daily stakeholder engagements, coordinating activities related to vigilance compliance, and compiling accurate reports on vigilance initiatives.
The role reports directly to the Stream Head Regulatory Compliance and Vigilance and has no people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 10 team members.
What does Expert Regulatory Vigilance do?Proactively work with internal stakeholders to ensure Jazz's adherence to all regulatory requirements, directives, and guidelines.
Proactively engage with regulatory bodies on matters of vigilance to stay informed about changes and updates in the regulatory landscape.
Strategically manage communications and interactions with regulatory authorities to mitigate risks.
Develop internal SOPs in liaison with commercial to ensure sales channels across Pakistan are compliant with the standard operating procedures of PTA.
Actively participate in daily stakeholder engagements, recording discussions and providing concise summaries to the Head of Compliance & Vigilance.
Work closely with internal teams to address stakeholder inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain comprehensive records of all interactions and communications with external stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather pertinent information for reporting purposes.
Establish and maintain effective communication among various departments within the organization.
Assist in coordinating activities related to vigilance compliance, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
Develop and implement a comprehensive vigilance compliance program.
Regularly assess and monitor compliance with vigilance policies and procedures.
Ensure Jazz sales channels are adhering to PTA laws.
Vigilantly create internal policies to avert enforcement actions by PTA on SIM sales issues.
RequirementsBachelor's in a relevant field or equivalent role experience.
Previous experience in coordination, reporting, or compliance roles is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of Telecom Laws, including the Telecom Act, Rules, Regulations, and SOPs.
