Overview Hire Resolve's Client, a reputable Investment Management company, is currently seeking a talented Fixed Income Analyst & Assistant Portfolio Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on fixed income securities, assisting in the management of investment portfolios, and providing support to senior portfolio managers. You will work closely with the investment team to identify investment opportunities, evaluate risks, and make informed investment decisions. You will also be responsible for monitoring market trends, conducting financial modeling, and preparing investment reports and presentations. Responsibilities: Research, analyse, value, and interpret local and international macro-economic variables and trends for investment decision making inputs. Communicate your insights, findings and recommendations to the Fixed Income Portfolio Management team and the broader Investment team. Valuation and pricing of fixed income securities and interest rate derivatives. Analysis of the bond yield curves, including instruments' sensitivity and convexity. Monitor the risk adjusted return of the credit universe, build, and monitor portfolio optimisation model - make recommendations that improve credit portfolio performance. Dealing and in fixed income securities and interest rate derivatives, including administration. Assist maintaining systems and databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of static and time series data across all portfolios, benchmarks, and other performance data. Act as back-up on money market portfolio management implementation, updating models and trading. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field Minimum 3 years of fixed income experience (preferably buy side) and demonstrable track record in investment recommendations Minimum 5 years of fixed income experience to be considered for an assistant portfolio manager role. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Knowledge of fixed income markets, instruments, and investment strategies Proficiency in financial software such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Excel Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work well in a team and meet tight deadlines CFA designation or progress towards CFA is a plus Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career changing move.
