We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with experience in building features across a web-app stack at scale.We are looking for a self-directed person who can own the API between our frontend and backend applications and who can get involved in projects across both the frontend and backend where necessary.Ideal candidates are mid-level (3-5 years of relevant experience) with a demonstrable track record of implementing things. Your ambition to learn and execute is key.The team is currently ~10, growing to ~20 people by the end of 2024.We are located in London, one of the world's foremost financial and tech hubs. Our end-to-end data pipeline enables investors to engage in the climate transition through financial instruments more easily and faster than ever.The team is currently at about 10 people, and plans to grow to ~20 in 2024. We have built a first version of our platform which we successfully demoed at COP28. During Q1 we will be onboarding our first customers and throughout the rest of the year will be rapidly scaling our pool of customers and users.About the roleWe are looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Engineer to own the API between our backend and frontend applications. You will be a key part of the technical team, collaborating with the Product Engineering Lead and other engineers to deliver features across the stack.This is a hybrid role - a combination of in-office (we are based in Central London) and remote working.In this role, you'd get to be responsible for:Owning the API between our frontend (NextJS/React/Typescript) and our backend (Python/Fast API).Implementing and maintaining features at various layers of the web stack in response to evolving business and engineering requirements.Developing, implementing, testing, and shipping software in Python/Typescript.Collaborating with other product engineers and balancing the tradeoff of shipping quickly versus building for scale, common in early stage startups like ourselves.In practice, your job for the first months in the role will involve:Working with other product engineers to scale our early product to multiple clients and users.Delivering features as part of the engineering roadmap.Shaping and owning the future of our API between frontend and backend applications.About youWe're looking for mission-driven, ambitious, and high-performing builders to join us for the ride. We do, however, expect that you are eager to learn and are persistent in finding great solutions to challenging problems.As the ideal future teammate, you'll need:3-5 years of experience in an equivalent or similar role.
