Providing technical architectural leadership for the University, reporting to the CIO and working closely with Transformation, IT and Professional Services teams to develop a coherent, compliant, financially and technically sustainable approach to IT provision. This exciting opportunity will see you responsible for development and maintenance of IT architecture roadmaps, aligning with the strategic goals and objectives of the institution to move toward target architectures. You will play a key role in strategic planning ensuring they are fit for purpose, secure, scalable, and cost-effective helping drive our transformation and create a sustainable Technology, Data and Digital roadmap for the future.What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience developing and maintaining an enterprise architecture strategy, framework and roadmap across a diverse technology stack and complex organisation. Demonstrable experience of defining, developing and communicating the vision, principles, and standards of Technology architect across a broad range of technical and non technical stakeholdersExtensive experience analysing business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.Ability to provide guidance and share expertise and best practise when integrating new technologies into the existing IT landscape, ensuring risk and opportunities for improvement and emerging technologies are identified. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
