What We Can Offer the HR Coordinator Hours: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm)Contract Type: PermanentCompensation: Attractive annual salary based on experienceHolidays: Staff work only during term time and are entitled to 5.6 weeks of annual leaveLocation: Eltham, LondonStart: ASAP About the Role and Key Responsibilities The HR Coordinator role is essential to Our Future Tutoring, as the sole HR position within the company. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently and managing all aspects of the HR function. As a growing business, we are evolving our HR department, focusing on upgrading policies, procedures, documentation, and systems. This position will involve leading development projects, generating innovative solutions for improvement, and implementing changes across multiple departments. Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and manage employment contractsEnsure HR compliance with laws and regulationsSupport recruitment processes, from posting jobs and hosting interviews to onboarding new hiresManage HR policies and updatesConduct risk assessments and maintain compliance recordsProvide payroll support and manage HR/payroll systemsAssist with general HR duties as neededProvide guidance to staff and management on HR and payroll inquiriesOversee and maintain records of staff training and development programmesAssist management with performance management processes and strategiesPromote overall wellbeing About You The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in HR coordination or a related field (HR-related qualifications are a bonus!)Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment lawStrong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in online HR systemsBasic payroll experience or transferable skills with a willingness to learnAttention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approachExperience in recruitment, onboarding, and performance managementThe ability to work independently and confidently If you are enthusiastic about making a difference and eager to join a dynamic and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
