So, whether you're looking to build new skills, make an impact in your community, or inspire your team, we go there for you.DescriptionAs a National Operation's Deployment Lead, Programs, the successful incumbent will work cross-functionally with Operations and Business Stakeholders groups to drive successful business implementation of strategic program objectives. Participation in requirement gathering and future state solution discussions is critical to drive positive change within affected business teams. The incumbent will lead a take-to-company team by coordinating change management, training, communication and other required implementation activities to ensure successful pilot, deployment and stabilization phases into Operations and impacted business groups. Work with Operations on-site in Terminals and remotely, observing processes and soliciting feedback from affected employees. You will be responsible for advocating for Operations and other stakeholders by bringing their concerns back to the project team to incorporate into future requirements and solution development. Support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles may be required including writing and executing test cases and supporting technical deployment activities.Specific AccountabilitiesEstablish and integrate best practices and deployment framework into take to company approach.Develop program deployment strategy into Operations and business functions, including resourcing and managing end-to-end deployment activities (location selection, scheduling, planning, defining deployment strategies and implementation process).Partner with other program and/or project teams to identify sequencing, synergies and dependencies.Coordinate with Leadership to find suitable implementation leads for requirement gathering and deployment activities.Lead cross-functional business teams to "operationalize" changes depending on program deliverables: new technological enhancements, applications, capabilities, and processes.Oversee and manage cross-functional deployment team responsible for implementation activities during the preparation, execution and stabilization phases. Take-to-company incorporates the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive); pilot execution, change management planning/readiness/reinforcement, tactical and strategic communications, training development and execution, process and field engineering design and stabilization, procurement and supplies, analytics and reporting development, performance measurement, IT equipment and user accessibility, coordination with other stakeholders (LP, HR, EH&S, etc.), lessons learned exercises.Additional ResponsibilitiesEach deployment will dictate which functional group will be involved but TTC activities can include such as Training, Change Management, Process Documentation, Performance Measures, Deployment Planning and Communications, etc.Apply Change Management principles to identify new approaches to introduce changes.Coordinate materials required with appropriate teams to secure required tools, equipment, logins, documents for pilot, deployment and stabilization phases.Analyze Business Requirements to understand current state vs. future state changes into business. Identify new approaches and solutions to business issues identified through analysis of processes and creation of work standards, best practices, and flow management.Advocate for Operations and affected business teams within the program - identify potential risks and escalate issues when gaps are identified.Visit terminals to understand current challenges and gather feedback on current and future solutions.Communicate regularly with operations on upcoming changes, expectations and status updates.Using project management skills to develop action plans to develop, manage, and implement projects providing realistic and accurate timeline, resource requirements, to achieve our goals.When required, participate in UAT activities. These activities may include the following:Prepare and execute test cases assigned.Providing concise and accurate documentation of defects and issues to the UAT Lead.Perform landing tests on the day of the launch during non-business hours (early morning hours & weekends) to ensure smooth deployment.Required Qualifications:Bilingualism (French and English) is a preferred asset.5-7 years of Operational experience (Management level preferred).2-5 years of Operational experience in the National deployment of processes or technologies.Thorough understanding of the Operational systems and processes.Experience with Change Management Methodology (Certificate is an asset).Experience with Project Management (PMP designation is an asset).Lean/Six Sigma Training (Green Belt is preferred).Post-Secondary Education preferred.Intermediate knowledge of MS office suite of products (Excel, Word, Power Point).Self-directed, motivated and able to work independently and in team environment.Strong leadership, project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing projects.High attention to detail.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.Must be able to address time-sensitive demands on a continuous basis.
