IT Support Analyst Level 2 - 12 months contract - CBD location Your new company Are you a skilled Desktop and Service Desk Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity to work with a leading financial organisation? We're currently seeking a Level 2 Engineer for a 12- month contract. Your new role As a Desktop support engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving desktop and application-related issues to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions. Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot a wide range of issues, including software/application support, network connectivity, and desktop hardware support.
- Manage Active Directory processes, O365 administration, and audio-visual devices management.
- Actively participate in various upcoming projects within the organisation.
- Serve as an escalation point for junior Desktop Support Engineers, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with other IT support teams and external vendors to resolve issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
- Create new user accounts and manage access and permissions.
- Proven experience in desktop and application support.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (M365), Active Directory, and Azure application support.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) would be advantageous.
