Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.Please be informed that this position is for future pipeline purposes.Partner with the bestAs a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for:Installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for packaging projects.Reading design specifications to cut pipes, perform routine inspections after fit up the pipes, and lay pipework.Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.Performing assembly/disassembly, adjusting and installing mechanical to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.Performing basic mathematical calculations; good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools, power tools needed for fit up pipes or assembly and precision measuring equipment.Operating moving equipment such as Overhead Crane.Performing testing such as hydrotest and pneumatic test.Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.Completing QC Sheets, manufacturing forms, and completion work forms.To be successful in this role you will:Have a high school diploma or equivalent.Have 3+ years experience in packaging lines.Have experience in mechanical activities such as assembly of pipes & equipment, testing, welding.Have knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations.Have knowledge of the product: Centrifugal Compressor, Gas Turbine, Electrical Motor, Gearbox.Have knowledge of reading and understanding packaging drawings.Have knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.).Have deftness and attention to detail.Be proficient in English.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
