This is a hard-working role essentially needed in building and construction industry, construction worker (labour) is required to assist construction team to perform a variety of routine tasks associated with all sorts of construction works in building andconstruction projects. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare construction sites, materials and tools. Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites Remove debris, rubbish and dangerous materials from construction sites mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar perform general duties, such as cleaning and carrying out minor repairs on construction sites Assist to load, unload and transport heavy machinery and equipment Assisting with removing or installing fixtures such as toilets, wash basins and assemble prefabricated furniture and fixtures Ensure workmanship and observe health and safety regulations Assist other contractors as required, e.g scaffolders, painters, tilers, carpenters, etc Take other relevant duties as required by construction supervisor or site manager Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job No formal qualification is required, any certificate or experience is a bonus On job training will be provided Able to work independently as well as a team Working under pressure Be physically fit Primary address of work: AucklandVacancy number: 5Employment type: Permanent full timeMinimum hours per week: 30 HoursMaximum hours per week: 40 HoursMinimum hourly rate (low salary range): $25/hourMaximum hourly rate (high salary range): $30/hourPay frequent: Weekly
