JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the execution of BIM processes on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide support to the architectural design team and management staff.
- Perform original design work using BIM specifications, sketches, and ideas.
- Conduct preliminary studies of proposed projects to gather information on space and design requirements.
- Prepare layout and preliminary BIM models for client presentations.
- Develop BIM design concepts and approaches according to project criteria and architectural standards.
- Analyze space utilization effectiveness and changing demands, recommending actions to meet new requirements.
- Compile data for architectural plans, specifications, and reports using BIM software.
- Prepare BIM models and detailed drawings required for contract documentation.
- Coordinate the development of detailed working BIM models and specifications.
- Assist with coordinating the bid process and reviewing BIM-related submissions.
- Review shop drawings, specifications, and material recommendations to ensure adherence to contract requirements.
- Prepare record drawings on completion of construction using BIM software.
- Must have a Professional degree (bachelor's) in architecture from an accredited program.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience in Architectural Design consultancy with at least 5 years of local experience.
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit) is a must with 5 years hands-on experience working with Revit. Additional software skills such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo, Sketchup, and Photoshop are preferred.
- Must be familiar with working on the Autodesk construction cloud.
- Good knowledge of architectural practice, but not limited to engineering and construction techniques.
- Knowledge of local authority / international codes.
- Knowledge of architectural design principles and stage delivery processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
