About the roleCreate reservations, quote fares and issue tickets as a part of passenger handling at front office. Serve customers professionally through telephone or in person in order to achieve customer satisfaction, generate revenue and take all possible measures to avoid loss of revenue.Key accountabilities include:Create reservations for passengers. Handle customer requirement requests professionally ensuring minimum complaints.Arrange reservations and rerouting using timetables, airline manuals and tariff book.Issue tickets and EMDs quoting correct fare, to reduce passenger complaints and debit notes.Advise changes in booked flights of passengers or to cancel or confirm reservations.Initiate and promote QR products to generate revenues.Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/emails; action telex messages or authorities.Handle processing of all kinds of rebates/discounted tickets.Airport Responsibilities:Handling last minute passengers at the Back Office, Kiosk, Premium Terminal, Transit A & B locations.Assist mishandled passengers such as No Record (NOREC), Denied Boarding (DNBs).Assist last minute passengers' requests for upgrades on departures at the Upgrade on Departure (UOD) Desk.Assisting HUB Operations for any sales and ticketing related queries.Handling the ticketing reissuances/re-bookings for flight disruptions.Be part of an extraordinary storyYour skills. Join us as we dare to achieve what's never been done before.QualificationsAbout youHigh School Qualification with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience.Track record of implementing change and revenue delivery.Recognized IATA/ Airline Basic Tariff Course.Knowledge on the Frequent Flyer Product.Command of English language.Excellent relationship building skills.Strong influencing and negotiation skills.English and/or Arabic speaker.Good network within QR and knowledge of the travel industry.About Qatar Airways GroupOur story started with four aircraft.
