The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing field service activities involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of battery systems for various applications. This role requires a strong understanding of battery technology, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair battery systems in various locationsConduct routine maintenance checks and preventive maintenance tasks on battery systems to ensure optimal performance and longevityDiagnose technical issues with battery systems and implement effective solutions in a timely mannerCollaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on product performance and reliabilityDocument all service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, accurately and comprehensivelyAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with battery systems and related equipmentCommunicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfactionMaintain inventory of spare parts and tools required for field service activitiesKeep abreast of industry developments and advancements in battery technology to enhance skills and knowledgeSkills RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.Proven experience in battery technology, installation, maintenance, and repairValid bike license with a clean driving record; ability to ride a bike safely and confidentlyStrong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power toolsExcellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse complex technical problemsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a teamBasic to good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleaguesPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various outdoor environmentsFlexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel to different locations as neededPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a field technician or in a similar role within the renewable energy or power systems industryFamiliarity with safety standards and regulations related to battery systems and electrical installationsProficiency in understanding and using phone applicationsAccepted file types: pdf, doc, docx, txt, rtfAccepted file types: pdf, doc, docx, txt, rtf
