Job details

Key Responsibilities:Monitors the tender process from EOI through to recommendation.Conducts contractor/supplier financial checks and references.Leads and conducts prequalification process.Prepares tender enquiry documents.Prepares recommendation reports and presentations.Leads and conducts value engineering exercises.Approves the ordering of necessary goods and services.Processes and/or reviews Purchase Requests from initiation to the receipt of goods.Compiles materials and purchase items lists as specified for packages.Receives and/or reviews receipts for materials and equipment ordered. Maintains responsibility for the receipt, inspection, and acceptance of all incoming items.Assists PM in obtaining specifications and prices for project estimates.Verifies invoices from suppliers, cross references with bids or purchase orders and approves for payment.Ensures storage of all materials and equipment. Maintains levels of materials and equipment to sustain daily maintenance operations.Performs functions associated with the purchasing program (i.e., work orders, buyer processing, receipts processing, invoice processing).Familiarizes themselves with the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.Performs other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
