In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay, leaving them with a lasting impression of our hospitality. As a Hotel Receptionist, you'll be responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out, and providing assistance and information throughout their stay. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to effectively handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure their needs are met. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will also be essential in managing reservations and coordinating with other hotel departments.Responsibilities: Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Check guests in and out, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of information. Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions. Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel policies. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests and any maintenance issues are promptly addressed. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, handling mail and packages, and processing payments. Maintain knowledge of hotel services and procedures to provide accurate information to guests. Requirements Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A friendly and positive attitude with a dedication to providing exceptional guest service. Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer systems. Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced and challenging situations. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of local attractions and amenities. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or tourism is a plus.
