The Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring auditing data collection and reviewing processes to ensure that they meet prescribed quality specifications standards and customer expectations and compile documented evidence to illustrate the Company's quality performance and to satisfy our customers requirements. Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and painting of structural steel will be a definite advantage. You will need to have significant experience in a Production Environment a strong Quality Assurance background a Commercial perspective and will play a crucial part in the day to day running of the organisation. This role will require close collaboration with our production operations technical teams and Senior Management to ensure the delivery of a robust quality control system. There will be a strong focus on the continuous improvement of both departmental processes and those within the business which the Quality Manager will drive forward using collated data and insights. You will play a key role within the Management Team which has a safety first environment that supports continuous improvement to ensure that we achieve our manufacturing and sustainability ambitions. You will investigate and respond to feedback (both internal and external) complaints related to quality implementing appropriate corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. You will maintain comprehensive Quality Assurance manual and ensure that actions reports and audits (process product and system) are conducted completed on time and followed up to ensure closure of corrective actions. You will bring to our team: Quality systems experience. Working knowledge of AS/NZS 5131 AS/NZS 1554 AS/NZS2312. Previous auditing and investigation experience. Minimum 5 years' experience in the steel manufacturing and/or painting industry. Be a good communicator at all levels both written and verbal. Be a team player who provides solutions.
