As we continue to expand our reach and influence in the water industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Applications Engineer to join our team based in our Pune, India office. In this role, you will provide technical advice, fit for purpose preliminary technical and process solutions and project budgets to our Australia based sales team, leading and managing Proposal Development, bid submissions, post-bid clarifications, and technical representation to clients and market forums. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to business development activities, including providing general technical advice, developing concept solutions and budgets.
  • Develop Process solution, conceptual design drawings, Equipment list, load list…
  • Prepare RFQs, review supplier quotes and compliance, and work with estimators to develop accurate costs for the project.
  • Write proposals and related technical documents for submission to client.
  • Lead bid processes - develop and manage bid plan, develop and agree process solution, support accurate cost estimation and risk assessment, and prepare proposal documents.
Essential Position Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Process Engineering/Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Process Design, Application Engineering, Proposals Development, preferably in the water industry.
  • Knowledge of and experience with membrane technologies in general and membrane-based water treatment solutions.
  • Knowledge of and experience Designing WTP that meet Australian Standards
  • Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills in team environment with locally and remotely based members.
  • Excellent English, written and verbal, communication and skills, particularly technical writing
  • Strong time management with ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Flexibility to travel on occasion as needed.
