Our client is looking for a Freelance Accountant to manage various accounting tasks on a project basis. This flexible role involves bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax filings, and financial analysis for different clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and update the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Assist with tax preparation and filings.
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and billing.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide support during audits.
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- CPA or similar certification is a plus but not required.
- Paid per assignment, rates based on project scope and complexity.
