Road Safety Projects Lead (Contract Opportunity)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Road Safety Projects Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the sale of five (5) to fifteen (15) motorcycles, assisting with the Annual Charity Ride, assisting with the general duties of the MTP program, and supporting OSC road safety initiatives.

Job Type: Part-time Contract
Contract Period: 3 month contract from July 8, 2024 to October 15, 2024
Wage: 24hrs/week at $26/hour
Reporting to: Executive Director
Working with: MTP Coordinator, Director of Programs, MTP Volunteers, and the Executive Director
Responsibilities:
Motorcycle Resale Project:
Leading the coordination of the sale of the OSC's five (5) to fifteen (15) motorcycles.
Working closely with the OSC MTP Coordinator, Chiefs, Volunteer Mechanic, and the Finance Manager / Director of Programs to ensure the proper sale of the designated OSC motorcycles.
Reviewing other key OSC MTP assets that might be able to be sold.
MTP Charity Ride Event Support:
Assisting with the planning, logistics, and execution of the Annual OSC MTP Charity Ride.
Assisting with the fundraising and participant recruitment.
General MTP Program Support:
Assist with the day-to-day duties of the MTP program.
Support other key OSC road safety initiatives by collaborating with internal team members.

Minimum Requirements:
Post-Secondary education.
5+ years experience in customer service.
3+ years of experience in road safety project management.
1+ year experience with events coordination.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and initiative.
Proactive problem solver.
Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
Experience with motorcycle and motorcycle sales is preferred.
Passion for improving road safety and making a positive impact on communities.
