This role is a focal point for alignment and trackworks with a focus on the Rail Long Distance Projects. To ensure that an alignment concept design and the requirements are coordinated with all internal and external stakeholders, necessary authority approvals have been obtained, and that the alignment scope is reflected in the tender documents as per Client's aspiration. During Tender and Execution, act as a focal point on the client side for queries, coordination, and review to ensure that the highest level of quality and state-of-the-art will be delivered.We envisage success in this role to include:Develops and maintains Rail's Alignment and Trackworks specifications.Coordinates alignment works with other disciplines.Takes responsibility for alignment Drawings and Conflict Resolution Drawings.Alignment within the Final (Baseline) Rail Route Approval Process.Takes responsibility for quantity estimations and lists for alignment related items.Participates in meetings with third parties, stakeholders, Contractors, and PMCs.Follows-up design requirements for alignment and trackworks.Ensures and assures that the alignment and trackworks are in line with the regulations and up to a high-quality standard.Reviews Contractors' alignment and trackwork design submissions.Participates in design workshops with the Contractor to ensure that the alignment and trackworks will be delivered to the highest possible quality standards.Provides responses to Contractors RFIs with regards to alignment and trackworks including acoustic noise & vibration.Minimum RequirementsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 10 years of railway alignment design comprising of international experience (min. 5 years) and experience in the Middle East, partnered with a Bachelor's degree as a Civil Engineer or Survey Engineer and/or equivalent required. MBA preferred.- Railway alignment software training (PROVI preferred).- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.- Extensive knowledge of international railway systems.- Metro, Long distance, and LRT alignment design, from concept to tender phase.- Alignment design using TSI, Euronorms, Arema, and preferably German Guidelines.- Profound knowledge of Alignment software (PROVI) and CAD software (AutoCAD).- Knowledge in geospatial data handling.- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.- Civil engineering knowledge.- Trackworks including acoustic noise & vibration knowledge.KEO's performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety, and our people.
