Senior Power BI API Developer

Location: [Remote, India] Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced **Senior Power BI API Developer** to lead the integration of RSA Archer with Microsoft Power BI using APIs, and provide support for API integrations across other systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API development, data integration, and dashboard/report creation within Power BI, with a strong preference for those who have prior exposure to RSA Archer. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain API integrations between RSA Archer and Microsoft Power BI to enable real-time data extraction and visualization.
• Design and create interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insights into Archer data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, gather, and integrate relevant data from various sources into Power BI.
• Utilize Power BI REST APIs and Archer APIs to automate workflows and streamline data reporting processes.
• Lead API integration projects between Archer and other business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM), ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
• Provide technical expertise on Power BI features and best practices, including DAX, data modeling, and advanced visualizations.
• Debug, optimize, and enhance existing API connections to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of API structures, data flows, and integration processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are met with effective and scalable solutions.

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Power BI Developer with a strong emphasis on API integration.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI REST APIs and other third-party API integrations.
• Solid understanding of RSA Archer platform with experience in integrating Archer data through APIs (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to support API development and data manipulation.
• Expertise in creating data models, measures, and visualizations in Power BI using DAX and M query languages.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, implementation, and best practices.
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot API issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Prior experience with RSA Archer GRC platform and its APIs.
• Experience with cloud-based data sources and services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with other BI tools and platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
