Ocean Pakistan Limitedan Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the post ofSr./Chief Reservoir Engineer . Candidates with overseas working experience would be preferred.

Education and Experience Requirement:

B.Sc. Petroleum Engineering, M.Sc. Petroleum Engineeringwith specialization in reservoir simulation with minimum of 15 years of working experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities:QC of the static models

Perform fluid characterization using an equation-of-state and incorporate in simulation model/s

Perform special core analysis interpretation and incorporate in simulation model/s

Build reservoir simulation models (both Black Oil & Compositional) from static models to characterize and describe oil, gas, and gas condensate reservoirs

History match the model with available historical field data

Use reservoir simulation models to optimize field development plans (inclusive of compressions for gas fields), reservoir performance and estimate reserves based on different recovery schemes (predictions)

Closely work with G&G team to ensure good consistency in static reservoir model building

Closely work with Operation team to plan, execute & monitor DST's, transient tests, PLT, BHP surveys etc.

Capable to utilize petroleum engineering software pertaining to well test analysis, material balance, DCA, production logging, nodal analysis, economic analysis etc.
