Cloud Data Engineer (GCP)
Job details
Role/Job Description • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Cloud Function, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage. • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to automate the deployment and management of GCP resources. • Contribute to developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data applications using tools like GitLab and Artifact Registry. • Collaborate with Data Scientists and other teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Implement data security and privacy measures following company policies and industry best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and availability. • Stay up to date with the latest GCP technologies and best practices. • Collaborate with IT stakeholders, including the cloud software development board, to ensure data infrastructure aligns with broader architectural goals. • Identify and propose solutions to enhance data infrastructure scalability, efficiency, and security. • Occasionally work with business primes to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Support critical customer-facing pipelines during off-hours may be needed Work location : Bengaluru, KA Work Experience : 5 to 8
