Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an MEP Estimator at Veristar. The MEP Estimator will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to estimating the cost of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects. This includes:
Reviewing project requirements
Preparing cost estimates
Analyzing blueprints and specifications
Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors
Providing accurate and precise estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
The MEP Estimator will also collaborate with the project team and participate in budgeting and cost control activities.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in estimating MEP systems
Proficiency in reviewing project requirements, blueprints, and specifications
Ability to accurately prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
Experience in coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Experience in the construction industry is preferred
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Previous Experience in MEP Design & Estimation
Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience
