Responsible for supporting and enabling the planning and execution on all relevant process roll-outs and process improvements. To analyse and introduce improvement opportunities on processes and introduce digitisation. KEY TASKS- Design and document end-to-end processes that supports GSS globally
- Act as subject matter expert within the scope of your service area
- Manage process changes
- Lead process redesign and process optimization workshops
- Perform root cause analysis and document findings and preventative measures
- Production of the Digital Analysis document set as part of User Centered Design activity in line with committed timescales and methodology, securing approval from stakeholders as required
- Work directly with project leads, operational teams and customers to provide expertise on continuous process improvement strategies
- Act as a liaison between cross functional teams to ensure seamless process handovers
- Monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on process performance
- Participate in knowledge transfer and acquisition workshops
- Perform in depth As Is /To Be analysis to drive process optimisation keeping in mind the GSS digital strategy
- Responsible for documenting business cases, BRD and other project related documents
- Support project delivery by providing input into creating test scenarios and performing UAT
- Contribution to the delivery of all flagship Group Transformation Programmes
- Ability to identify the data needed to justify decisions and presenting the results accordingly
- Facilitation of SIP workshops with operational teams and clients to identify issues and process improvements
- Measure processes against best practice and identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform trend analysis to identify and solution common process failures
- Standardising and optimising processes
- Determine inefficiencies, propose process-improvement measures and monitor implementation
- Monitor compliance against defined process standards.
- Monitor continuous alignment with other GSS regions and Group
- Work with operational managers and compliance lead to enhance the process control environment
- Ensure that all processes and work instructions as defined and approved are uploaded and continuously updated on the portal in collaboration with Functional Learning and or on WPB
- Provide input into audits and assist compliance lead to track and close audit findings
- Ensure that process changes are effected in accordance with change management and governance principles
- Ensure processes are aligned to regulatory requirements such as GDPR, POPIA etc.
- Work with the Functional Learning team to ensure the completion of training of relevant staff on applicable processes
- Support line managers in educating business users that are responsible for managing processes
- Maintain process related training documentation
- Ensure relevant process training is delivered
- Demonstrate behaviour in line with health, safety and environmental standards
- Report to your leader about any issues you cannot address
- Demonstrate behaviour in line with the Group’s values, standards and a professional workplace
- Participate as an effective team member in working collaboratively with your leader, peers and relevant others (including from other teams where relevant) to achieve business goals
- Operate in a cost effective way, within limits set by your leader
- Work within policies, processes and systems and advise your leader of any issues which impede your, or the team’s performance
Qualifications
- B Degree or Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5 years experience working in a Business Process environment or payroll.
- Skills in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and CASE Tools (ARIS, Casewise or similar).
- Experience of process improvement and LEAN thinking methodologies
- Awareness of User Centred Design methodology
- Experience with ERP preferably SAP and enabling systems
