Assistant or Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management - Thompson Rivers University, Gaglardi School of Business and EconomicsPosition: Assistant or Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management (tenure-track)Organization: Thompson Rivers UniversityUnit: Gaglardi School of Business and EconomicsPreferred Start Date: 2025, July 1stAbout the positionThe Bob Gaglardi School of Business and Economics at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor tenure track position in Supply Chain Management, starting July 1, 2025. Rank is commensurate with experience. In this research-oriented position, candidates will maintain an active research agenda while teaching five sections of 40 or fewer students each per academic year. Courses may be delivered using in-person, blended, or hybrid course modalities. Ideally, candidates will be able to teach a variety of Supply Chain and other related courses in the department.QualificationsWe seek applicants with a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and teaching in the field of Supply Chain Management. A Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or a related area is required, but applicants who are ABD and close to completion of their PhD are welcome to apply, with the proviso that an earned doctorate is required before the appointment date. The position entails conducting and publishing rigorous academic research and the ability to develop and sustain high-quality teaching and learning environments for students. Accordingly, applicants must demonstrate success in publishing or the potential to publish in high-ranking peer-reviewed Supply Chain Management and related business journals, as well as a commitment to developing and maintaining excellent course development and teaching skills. It is also expected that the candidate will make a strong ongoing service contribution to the department, school, university, and/or the broader community.
