A-Team Academy an award winning Tutoring/Exam Centre is looking for a competent A-Level tutor that can tutor A-Level Chemistry. Must have experience in having taught both GCSE and A-Level Chemistry. Our students are studying for the AQA Exam board for A-Level Chemistry. We offer our Tutors highly rewarding assignments which are challenging and fulfilling whilst providing flexibility and professional support to ensure your success. These roles are would suit individuals that have taught before. We are looking to fill this role immediately. Responsibilities and Duties · Delivering tutoring sessions face to face within our centres (based at Clements Road, Ilford)· Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet your student’s academic needs and goals. · Clarifying and teaching subject content. · Assessing and reporting on students’ knowledge on a regular basis. · Being a mentor to students. · Ensuring the safeguarding of students you work with. Qualifications and Skills Our ideal Tutor: · Experienced tutor or teacher and MUST be well versed with A-Level Chemistry. · Have a good knowledge and understanding of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum in particular for AQA and/or OCR Chemistry. · Must have previous Teaching and/or Tutoring experience. · Enthusiastic about helping students improve and achieve academically. · Have excellent communication skills. · Are flexible, organised and reliable. · Have access to own transport or public transport to travel to our centres. Key Requirements: · Outstanding record of academic achievement. · Ideally hold a graduate degree . · Be able to deliver face to face tuition at our centre. · Be committed to the safeguarding of all young people. · Able to work weekends and/or weekdays (during term time)· Passionate about coaching and mentoring others. · Must hold DBS certification. Job Type: Part-time Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 per week Additional pay:
