Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for Trainers and Superusers to join their Healthcare Transformation Program. The duration of these posts is 11 months initially with likely extensions thereafter. The role will be based fully onsite in Dublin 9. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €30.17 per hour based on an annualised salary of €55,093. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. Role Overview We are seeking skilled and experienced Trainers and Superusers to join our team. As Trainers and Superusers, you will play a vital role in facilitating the adoption and effective utilisation of the new processes, healthcare systems and technologies among end-users. The ideal candidates will possess strong communication and training skills, extensive knowledge of healthcare applications, and a passion for educating and empowering users. Key Responsibilities: Training Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs. Design training materials, including user guides, training manuals, and e-learning modules, that cater to different learning styles and skill levels. Develop and maintain training curricula, ensuring content is up-to-date and aligned with system updates and enhancements. Training Delivery and Facilitation: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for end-users, both in-person and through virtual platforms. Customise training sessions to meet the specific needs of different user groups, such as clinicians, administrators, and support staff. Provide demonstrations and hands-on exercises to ensure users develop proficiency in utilising systems and technologies. User Support and Troubleshooting: Respond to user inquiries and provide timely support for system-related questions and issues. Troubleshoot user problems and guide them through resolution steps, escalating to technical teams when necessary. Collaborate with technical support teams to document and resolve system-related issues, ensuring a seamless user experience. User Adoption and Change Management: Promote user adoption of systems by communicating their benefits and providing ongoing support. Collaborate with change management teams to develop and execute strategies that facilitate smooth transitions and minimise user resistance. Gather user feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and training programs. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Healthcare Trainer, Superuser, or similar role in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of healthcare applications, such as Laboratory, ED, PAS, OC and clinical information systems. Proficiency in using training platforms, virtual collaboration tools, and multimedia software. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to guide users through system-related issues. Familiarity with change management principles and techniques to facilitate user adoption. Ability to establish rapport with users and provide exceptional customer service. Flexibility to adapt to changing training needs and technologies. Bachelor's / Masters degree in healthcare, training or a related field and or relevant certifications are a plus.
