Briefly about us: VBB Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH is one of the largest transport associations in Europe. Our passengers, who travel daily by bus & train in Berlin & Brandenburg, experience uniform, customer-oriented local transport with a wide range of transport connections, one fare & comprehensive passenger information. A team of around 100 colleagues (m, f, d) is working on this in the heart of Berlin - & maybe soon you too?

Your tasks Cell phone ticket systems:
  • Acting directly: Technical support & further development of the mobile ticket systems & contracts; first-level customer support for sales via the VBB app "Bus & Bahn"; definition & evaluation of technical requirements for the system
  • Actively cooperate: Coordination with second-level support; training & support of support staff; input to working groups & VBB committees
  • Documenting: Carrying out tests & documentation as well as monthly statistics
Data protection:
  • Acting in compliance with the law: Creating & adapting data protection & data security concepts; processing inquiries
  • Coordinate on all sides: Coordination with the State Commissioner for Data Protection & with the VBB Data Protection Officer; Head of the Data Protection Working Group
Procurement management, controlling & finances:
  • Check: Settlement between transport companies & VBB
  • Supervise: Supervision of contracts with system service providers; support for the further development of digital distribution systems in the VBB; preparation & follow-up and input to VBB committees; participation in ongoing funding & research projects
  • Procurement & control: Procurement of systems & components; financial controlling, contract controlling & negotiations; acquisition of funding programs & preparation of funding applications
Your profile
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree or alternatively a commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Ideal: Experience in ticketing and sales in public transport in transport associations, transport companies or in the industry
  • Interest in information & communication technologies (internet, data exchange, data communication)
  • Professional handling of MS Office
  • Team player (m, f, d) with the following soft skills: High willingness to dialog & cooperate, hands-on mentality, transparent as well as goal- & solution-oriented way of working
