Our clients are the CEOs and executive teams of the top Global 1000 companies.Oliver Wyman is now looking to recruit a Learning Delivery Specialist to join our global L&D team based in our Dubai office!Job Overview:Oliver Wyman is seeking a Learning Delivery Specialist to be part of the Learning and Development (L&D) team within the Human Capital function. This role will be part of the global Learning and Development team, responsible for organizing, delivering and evaluating high-quality training programs and training events for mainly Oliver Wyman's Consultant populations. Specifically, the role will be responsible for assigned programs and for supporting the administrative needs of courses for the regional team. This role will have a regional focus within India, Middle East & Africa, although will be expected to work seamlessly with the global team and may be required to travel where needed. The role may also support programs delivered for the Support Professional, Specialist or Partner population.Being part of a global team, the individual will need to be detail-oriented, self-starter who can operate without close supervision. They must be a team player and will require excellent communication skills to work in a complex, demanding and global professional services environment. The role also requires a high degree of organization, significant attention to detail, strong customer service orientation and outstanding client relationship building skills.Key Responsibilities:Understand and effectively communicate how L&D programs and modules fit into colleagues' broader development.Establish and maintain a solid understanding of the different life-cycles - knowing at a high level what skills are required to be successful at each level.Manage key relationships required to successfully plan and organize training attendance.Work closely with other functions in the Human Capital team (e.g., Talent Management, Recruiting) to coordinate appropriate training at the appropriate time in an individual's career.Develop strong professional relationships with internal facilitators and external vendors to determine areas of expertise and appropriate roles in core programs.Take ownership for assigned program delivery.Full coordination of all aspects of program planning for classroom sessions as well as virtual sessions including but not limited to: booking meeting rooms, setting up meeting rooms live or via Zoom, researching, selecting and booking hotels and restaurants, arranging catering, preparing and printing materials, working with other departments to ensure training programs are set-up and run successfully.Act as lead on program and collaborate effectively within delivery pod to ensure that all program logistics are properly handled from set up through completion of programs.Recruit appropriate facilitators for programs based on course content and participant profile.Organize and facilitate host briefings based on understanding course content to provide facilitator with background on program and useful facilitation information leveraging other members of the L&D team as necessary.Act as in-room host for programs with strong L&D presence to create an environment for learning.Support needs within program to ensure impactful program delivery. This includes handling onsite logistics, answering attendee questions, knowledge of content to support faculty and all other program related needs.Escalate cancellation issues as needed.Manage and host teambuilding and social events, owning venue selection and budget decisions and establishing and encouraging professional behavior in a fun, respectful atmosphere.Understand and adhere to budget set for programs and be accountable for delivering program on budget.Strong technical L&D toolkit including ability to utilize Workday Learning (LMS), Degreed (LXP), CVent (Event Management Tool), Zoom/Teams (Virtual Meeting Tools), etc.Provide suggestions to core content team based on training experiences and feedback from participants and internal facilitators.Identify key themes in programs to share with other members of the team and other human capital functions if it makes sense.Complete feedback summary analysis to send to internal facilitators hosts and course owner.Identify areas of inefficiencies and work with L&D team to improve processes.Act in virtual training room as co-host and producer of the session.Act as a strong presence in IMEA to build the L&D brand with colleagues.Experience Required:Evidence of interest in learning or education.Experience working in fast-paced commercial environment.Experience within a professional services/ management consulting firm is preferred.GCC Region experience is desirable.Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.Working knowledge of L&D tools (LMS/LXP and Event Management software).Skills and Attributes:Ability to multi-task and to prioritize and manage own time.High levels of initiative taking creativity and ability to work with minimal oversight.Ability to work as part of a highly collaborative global team.Ability to cope with a fast-paced and high performing environment and able to handle requests outside of the job description.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build working relationships at all levels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Sense of humor.Structured thinker and problem solver.Attention to detail.Flexible attitude with strong work ethic.Why join us at Oliver Wyman?At Oliver Wyman, we lead with heart - we love what we do and have fun while we do it!
