Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the on-site installation of FF&E elements in both residential and commercial projects, ensuring work is completed according to the design specifications and timelines.
  • Work closely with designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure FF&E items are delivered, assembled, and installed efficiently and on time.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify that the civil and structural work related to interior designs—such as walls, partitions, and fixtures—meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Assist in preparing site reports, documentation, and progress updates for project managers, ensuring clear communication of the current project status.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to the FF&E installation, communicating promptly with project stakeholders to minimize delays.
  • Ensure all site work meets safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the design team to resolve on-site design challenges related to the FF&E elements.
  • Monitor the use of materials, labor, and equipment to ensure efficient resource utilization and adherence to project budgets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably focusing on interior design or FF&E installation in residential or commercial projects.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, interior fit-out procedures, and materials relevant to FF&E.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with design teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with interior design projects, specifically involving FF&E.
  • Familiarity with interior design standards, materials, and procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software is an advantage.
