Mechanical Production Engineer

Job Description

• Collaborate with R&D team to maintain an organized and up-to-date database of drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with multiple factories and workshops with drawings and manufacturing documents to ensure timely receipt and acknowledgment
• Regularly communicate with factory personnel to address queries and provide clarifications.
• Oversee the entire production process, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with factories and workshops to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and collaborate with assembly team to resolve any issues and streamline assembly procedures.
• Supervise the assembly process, ensuring proper alignment with design specifications.
• Conduct regular checks to verify the quality and accuracy of manufactured parts and assembled units.
• Develop and execute inspection plans to ensure adherence to industry standards and customer requirements.
• Identify and procure standard parts required for manufacturing processes.
• Document and report any non-conformities, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical production engineering, with a focus on supervising manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques
• Proficient in CAD software.
• Project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
• Experience dealing with electronics components is plus.
