Location: Kochi Exp Level: 4+ Years Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools, with a focus on Selenium.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to define test requirements and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and issues, providing detailed information for effective troubleshooting and resolution.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications and systems to ensure they meet functional requirements, quality standards, and performance expectations.
- Analyze test results and generate comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the development team.
- Continuously improve and optimize the automated testing processes, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to quality assurance and automation testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts using Selenium or similar automation frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
